Precautions for selection of LED lamps

1. Lamp bead quality:

1. LED chip; Brands are commonly divided into three camps. The chip quality in the United States and Japan is good and the price is expensive, followed by * * *. The LED chip quality in China is poor and the price is low. The key of LED chips with different quality is their lifetime, which is determined by light attenuation. Small light attenuation, long life, long life and high price. The chip quality determines the brightness and light attenuation of the lamp bead. A good lamp bead not only has high luminous intensity, but also has low light attenuation.

2. Light efficiency: the higher the light efficiency, the higher the brightness of the Lamp Beads with the same power. With the same lighting brightness, the smaller the power consumption, the more energy-saving. The better the color temperature of the same batch of lamps is consistent, the higher the price is.


2. Drive Power Supply;

LED lamps must be equipped with high quality and high efficiency driving power supply. The power factor of the driver shall be above 0.9. If the power factor is lower than 0.6, it belongs to unqualified products or garbage products, which not only has a short service life, but also the actual power consumption is about twice as high as the nominal value, with no power saving effect. At the same time, the current harmonic is also large, and the current is unstable, which is unfavorable to the life of the lamp bead and the overall lamp. The life of the power supply directly affects the overall life of the lamp. The theoretical life of the LED Lamp Bead is more than 50000 hours, while the life of the power supply is between 5000 hours and 30000 hours. It is impossible to guarantee the product quality and life of the LED Lamp without a good driving power supply.


3. Heat dissipation conditions:
1. Radiator material; At present, most radiator materials are aluminum, the best is insert aluminum, the second is car aluminum (aluminum profiles, extruded aluminum), and the worst is cast aluminum.
2. Radiator structure: The contact area between Led Lamp Beads and aluminum substrate, aluminum shell, and the tightness of assembly will directly affect the core temperature conduction and heat dissipation effect of LED chips.

3. Radiator area; The size of the radiator area of the LED lamp determines the heat dissipation effect of the LED lamp. If the heat dissipation condition is not good and the lamp bead works under high temperature, the light attenuation will be great and the lamp life will be shortened.


4. Safety standards
Some safety standards for LED lamps have been issued in China. Please select LED lamps according to the national safety standards. A high-quality LED lamp should also consider different use environments and different technical requirements, such as moisture-proof and dust-proof.
In a word, a high-quality LED lamp requires a perfect combination of high-quality (chip) lamp beads, high-quality (chip) lamp beads, drive power, good heat dissipation conditions and safety standards! It cannot be regarded as a qualified product if only one party is emphasized. To this end, consumers should consider the above important aspects comprehensively when choosing LED lamps to avoid economic losses.
