UK's Price Semiconductor launches a new grow light that boosts crop growth and accelerates fruit ripening

Plessey has launched a new horticultural lighting product, the Hyperion Inter Light grow light.

It is reported that Price's Hyperion Top Light was installed in more than 10 hectares in 2018. This new Hyperion Inter Light follows the Top Light.

Hyperion Inter Light has been specially designed to provide LED intra canopy lighting for greenhouse vegetable wire cultivation. This light is installed in the middle of the crop and complements the existing overhead lighting. Moreover, Inter Light is suitable for the mixed lighting system of high pressure sodium lamp and LED Lamp, which can promote the growth of crops and accelerate the ripening of fruits.

In addition, the light output and light efficiency of Hyperion Inter Light can meet the needs of different growing environments. At the same time, it offers a wide beam angle for optimal light penetration.

Installing lights between greenhouse crops can help growers get the most value out of their production and energy costs. Inter Light provides enhanced light in the optimal spectral range, while also acting as an additional heating duct, helping growers achieve high yields with less energy.
